Ending Violence, Exploitation & Liberating Young Nations
our rescue model
Prevent
Strengthening Communities Before Exploitation Occurs
Operation Zian believes that a crucial part of rescue is preventing a child from ever entering exploitation.
We identify vulnerable communities where poverty, family instability, and lack of opportunity increase the risk of trafficking. Through partnerships with local churches and community leaders, we work to address the root causes that make children vulnerable.
Our prevention initiatives include:
Supporting families identified as being at high risk through practical assistance and empowerment programs.
Providing educational support, feeding programs, and resources that help families build sustainable futures.
Funding and equipping Christian churches and community-led initiatives that serve vulnerable populations.
Delivering trafficking awareness and prevention programs in schools, churches, and local communities.
Training local leaders to recognise warning signs of exploitation and respond appropriately.
We believe poverty is one of the leading drivers of exploitation, and strengthening families is one of the strongest forms of prevention.
Protect
Mobilising Communities to Safeguard Children
Operation Zian believes that communities play a critical role in protecting children.
We work alongside churches, schools, and trusted local partners to establish protective environments where children can thrive safely.
This includes:
Equipping churches with child safeguarding practices.
Training volunteers and leaders to identify indicators of trafficking and exploitation.
Supporting local reporting pathways for children at risk.
Empowering communities to become active participants in protecting their own children.
We believe that local communities, led by compassionate and informed leaders, are the first line of defence against trafficking.
Pursue
Identifying Exploiters and Supporting Rescue Efforts
Operation Zian believes that those who exploit children must be held accountable.
We seek to identify individuals and networks involved in child exploitation, including those who travel internationally to abuse vulnerable children.
Our role may include:
Gathering intelligence relating to child exploitation.
Supporting investigations through trusted partnerships.
Assisting or supporting victim-centred rescue operations where appropriate.
Advocating for accountability and justice for offenders.
Rescue efforts are conducted with the safety and long-term wellbeing of the child as the highest priority.
We believe that ending trafficking requires confronting both the demand and the systems that enable exploitation.
RESTORE
Supporting Healing and Long-Term Recovery
Rescue is not the end of a child's journey.
Operation Zian believes every child deserves the opportunity to heal, recover, and build a hopeful future.
Through partnerships with trusted organisations and local communities, we seek to support:
Trauma-informed care.
Safe accommodation and ongoing support.
Education and vocational opportunities.
Family reintegration where appropriate and safe.
Spiritual care and discipleship for those who choose it.
Our goal is not only freedom from exploitation, but restoration of dignity, identity, and hope.
Proclaim
Mobilising the Church to End Exploitation
Operation Zian believes the Church has a unique role in addressing human trafficking.
We seek to inspire and equip Christians to respond through:
Prayer and intercession.
Compassionate action.
Advocacy for vulnerable children.
Support for local churches serving high-risk communities.
Raising awareness about the realities of trafficking.
We believe lasting transformation happens when communities are shaped by justice, compassion, and the love of Christ.
our Philosophy
Prevent vulnerability. Protect communities. Pursue exploiters. Restore survivors. Proclaim hope.
We believe trafficking cannot be solved through rescue operations alone.
By addressing poverty, strengthening families, empowering local churches, protecting communities, pursuing offenders, and supporting survivors, we seek to break the cycle of exploitation and create lasting change for future generations.
