Zack Simpson established Operation Zian with a single driving purpose: to stand in the gap for vulnerable children and bring hope where darkness once prevailed. Before founding the organisation, Zack spent years directly involved in international child-rescue operations, working across numerous countries.
His experience includes coordinating with law enforcement, intelligence networks, and specialist anti-trafficking teams to identify victims, dismantle trafficking operations, and support successful rescue missions. Zack’s hands-on involvement—from undercover work to complex cross-border investigations—shaped the DNA of Operation Zian: courage, compassion, integrity, and relentless advocacy for the vulnerable.
Today, Zack leads Operation Zian with the same conviction that guided him in the field. He oversees strategy, partnerships, safety protocols, and the organisation’s global direction. His mission is not only to rescue children—but to empower communities, equip volunteers, and build long-term systems that protect the next generation.

Outreach Coordinator (Philippines)
Based in the Philippines, Jesa Abuan plays a crucial role in ensuring that Operation Zian’s work is grounded, culturally connected, and community-focused. As the Outreach Coordinator, Jesa is responsible for selecting volunteers, organising community programmes, and maintaining the highest standards of safety for all activities.
She oversees volunteer vetting, ensuring that every team member shares the organisation’s values, passes required background checks, and is fully aligned with Operation Zian’s mission. Jesa also manages on-the-ground communication with local partners, families, churches, and support networks to ensure that each outreach event is impactful, organised, and safe.
Her leadership brings warmth and structure to every project, helping Operation Zian serve communities with compassion, accountability, and respect. Jesa is the bridge between the organisation and the people we serve—ensuring that every outreach is done with excellence, integrity, and genuine love for those in need.
