Meet sam
Meet Sam, our Pakistan Outreach Manager at Operation Zian.
Sam is a passionate evangelist with a heart for sharing the love of Jesus Christ and helping vulnerable children and families living in some of Pakistan's most challenging circumstances.
Much of Sam's outreach work focuses on children and families living and working in Pakistan's brick kiln communities, where poverty, debt, and limited access to education can leave children particularly vulnerable to exploitation and child labour.
Through her ministry, Sam works to bring hope, encouragement, and practical support to these communities, reaching children who are too often overlooked and reminding them that they are loved, valued, and deserving of a brighter future.
As our Pakistan Outreach Manager, Sam helps extend Operation Zian's mission beyond the Philippines, building relationships within local communities and supporting our efforts to protect vulnerable children from exploitation.
Driven by his faith and compassion, Sam reflects the heart of Operation Zian: sharing the love of Christ, standing alongside the vulnerable, and bringing hope to children who deserve a future free from exploitation.
Bringing Hope to Pakistan's Brick Kilns
Across Pakistan, thousands of vulnerable families live and work in brick kiln communities, where poverty, exploitation, and generational debt can make escaping hardship incredibly difficult.
For many children, childhood is overshadowed by long working hours, dangerous conditions, and limited opportunities for education. Some begin working alongside their parents at a young age, helping produce bricks to support their families or repay debts that can keep entire households trapped in cycles of bonded labour.
These children deserve more than a life of hardship. They deserve education, safety, freedom, and the opportunity to dream of a better future.
The Reality of Brick Kiln Life
Brick kiln workers can face extreme heat, exhausting physical labour, low wages, and unsafe living conditions. For families trapped in debt bondage, leaving can be extremely difficult.
Children growing up in these environments are particularly vulnerable to exploitation, with many missing out on education and the basic freedoms every child deserves.
Our Mission in Pakistan
Through our Pakistan Outreach Manager, Sam, Operation Zian seeks to bring the love of Jesus Christ, encouragement, and practical support to children and families living in brick kiln communities.
Our outreach is rooted in the belief that every child is created in God's image and deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and love.
By building relationships with vulnerable families, sharing the Gospel, and identifying opportunities to provide meaningful assistance, we aim to bring hope to communities that are too often forgotten.
Breaking the Cycle of Exploitation
We recognise that overcoming generational poverty and bonded labour requires long-term solutions.
Our vision is to strengthen our outreach in Pakistan, build trusted local partnerships, support children's access to education, and help connect vulnerable families with appropriate assistance and protection.
We want children growing up around brick kilns to know that their circumstances do not determine their worth or their future.
No child should have to sacrifice their childhood to repay a debt. At Operation Zian, we believe every child deserves the freedom to learn, grow, and live with hope.
our goal
in Pakistan is to protect vulnerable children from exploitation and help break the cycle of poverty and bonded labour within Pakistan's brick kiln communities.
Through practical support, education, local partnerships, and sharing the love of Jesus Christ, we aim to give children hope, strengthen families, and create pathways towards a future free from exploitation.
Every child deserves freedom, education, and the opportunity for a better future.
Every Child Deserves Freedom From Exploitation
